Visiting the family in Pennsylvania

Colton and Evonne went to Pennsylvania to see Evonne's family in September. It gave them some time to see Grandma and the cousins. They visited the zoo during the beginning of their visit.


Cole didn't share his snacks with the rams though.


Colton helped Grandma water all the strawberries that the family spent the next weekend planting.


Cole found this life size doll, and layed it down on the floor to nap with him. Later he sat with it on the stairs and then set it up at the door like this.


Cousin Cody came by frequently to pay his regards to Cole.

Aunt Mandy and Cousin Owen compare bellies: Mandy was ready to deliver, but still had to wait several more weeks. Owen delivered right after this picture was taken.

Our Last Weekend in Maine

We enjoyed our last "real" weekend in Maine over Labor Day before closing up the house. It was nice enough to swim.


Colton loved getting to play in the water and help Daddy throw rocks up on the shore.


It was almost a month until we got back to the house to close up. Then Cole helped out with the work.

August Events

The family hanging out at Evonne and Mamie's birthday party.


We took Cole to the Franklin Park Zoo where he loved driving the tractor...


and going down the slide by himself. We couldn't get him to stop!


Colton visited a local Children's museum with Mom and had a blast driving the firetruck.


We also got to visit Grandad at his birthday party. It was lots of fun seeing the extended family again.
