Halloween

Cole dressed up as a fire fighter for Halloween this year. He marched around in the Randolph Halloween Parade. Randolph Community TV was there and gave him his 15 minutes of fame. (It was actually about 5 seconds, but they repeated the parade constantly for the next week on cable access.)

Cole's been having fun playing in the yard with all the leaves. We'll rake leaves over him or drop him into a big pile of them and he just laughs... as long as you uncover him quickly.

The Thrill of Victory

After having to watch the Red Sox blow it in the post season his whole life, Cole finally got to experience the thrill of victory.

OK, so this was only his second baseball season, but he's been running around yelling 'Go Sox' for the last two months!

We got to go downtown to watch the Sox on parade with our friends Stacie and Mike.

With a great view from Daddy's office we got to see all the players.

Cole was great sitting on Daddy's shoulders for the whole parade. Still don't know where he got that "Go Sox" mantra.

Apples of October

We went apple picking with Grandma Terry and Aunt Jill. We brought back many bushels of apples and spent an afternoon making pies and sauce out of them.

Colton and Evonne prepared the dough ahead of time. Cole's a big help with cooking.

He helped Mom cut up all the dough.

After the pies were ready, Cole moved on to the apple sauce.

He did a good job both mashing and turning.

Fall Fun 2

Fall was very busy for our family.

We went pumpkin picking at Ward's Berry Farm. Here Cole and Daddy hang out on the 3-story hay pile.

Colton liked riding the pumpkins like horses for some reason.

Mommy and Cole saying "CHEEESE" for the camera.

We later turned these pumpkins into works of art... Well, we dug them out and gave them a face.
