House Party!

We've been having problems with our roof since we moved in. 

So we conned our family into visiting over the 4th of July weekend to redo it. 

We started at 7am the first day stripping the old shingles off. We thought there were two layers but ended up finding three.

Evonne's brother Chris helped out replacing some of the poor workmanship of the original builders.

The second day, we finished stripping the shingles, put on the tar paper and started on the shingles.

Evonne's father Bill led the way getting the shingles put on.

Jesse's dad helped on the roof and on the ground clearing away the bushes in front of the house.

We finished up on the third day.
